店主、齋藤貞一郎が長年にわたり蒐集した伝統工芸品の数々、

その時々の思い入れやストーリーを作品と共に初出品しています。

古裂などを蒐集する傍ら、越後上布や宮古上布、今や最も貴重なものとなった、

重要無形文化財技術指定、人間国宝、鈴木苧紡庵作のものなどもございます。

◆Gion Saito Antique Kimonos Collection

“Gion Saito” is specialized in the production of traditional Kimono. Since our company was founded in around 1840, we have been producing high-quality fabrics for Kimono, all by handwork of craftsmen in Gion, Kyoto.

We will be exhibiting and selling traditional antique crafts and Kimonos which our former president Saito Teiichiro collected for many years, including Kimono textiles such as Kumejima and Miyako, Obi and others.
